Self Cleaning Tank Technology:

Each polycarbonate tank in the ICM™ Rack system features our proprietary bottom drain system which promotes continuous, worry-free automatic cleaning. Recirculated water constantly drains through the bottom of the tank, which allows uneaten feed and fecal solids to pass directly to the filtration system for easy cleaning. We've also installed purge valves at the end of each row of tanks to allow periodic manual "flushing" of tanks in order to eliminate any buildup of organics in the tanks and plumbing. Our unique self-cleaning drain operation eliminates the need for tank siphoning from your maintenance protocols, which saves valuable labor costs and optimizes water quality for your lab animals.

Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Tank Racks:

Tank support racks are manufactured with sturdy stainless steel tubing and then epoxy fuse coated to provide the highest degree of corrosion resistance available - even in harsh saltwater and salt-air environments.

Heavy-duty adjustable stainless steel leveling feet are designed to be bolted to the floor for the highest degree of stability. Stainless casters are available for stand alone systems for mobility.

Plastic shelving is standard on all units for a professional appearance as well as to prevent excessive light from entering the tank, which can promote algae growth.

Recirculating System Technology:

ICM™ Rack Systems are available with integrated filtration systems for stand alone racks or centralized filtration systems for multiple rack configurations. All recirculating life support systems combine our patented HTE Microbead Biofilter™ technology with carefully selected filter components to provide the highest water quality available.

Recirculating systems for our multi-tank systems feature:

- Integrated or Centralized filtration packages with extremely low maintenance requirements

- Highest water quality available with the least amount of makeup water required

- Compact design for small footprint

- Temperature control options (heating or chilling)

- UV sterilizer included for disinfection of water-bourne bacteria, pathogens, and algae.

Multiple Rack Configurations:

ICM™ Systems are 100% scalable systems designed to be integrated into multiple rack configurations to meet the needs of larger research and commercial facilities. Multiple-rack ICM™ systems benefit from significant economies of scale in terms of initial capital cost and minimal operation and maintainence costs since they are able to utilize a centralized filtration system. Back-to-back racks and linked forward-facing systems give facility planners plenty of design options and maximize the use of floor space.
